Trainee Solicitor - No Borders Law (Glasgow)
Start Date: ASAP
No Borders Law is expanding, and we are looking for a committed, driven Trainee Solicitor to join our dynamic team in Glasgow. Our firm specialises in immigration, asylum, human rights and public law. We work on the frontline of access to justice, representing some of the most vulnerable individuals and families in Scotland.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong sense of justice, excellent client-care skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with a wide range of immigration, asylum and human rights matters Conduct legal research and draft representations, submissions, and appeal documents Attend Tribunals and client appointments Manage a varied caseload with professionalism and empathy Support the team with case preparation, evidence gathering, and file management
Essential Criteria
Scots law degree and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice (or near completion) Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrable commitment to social justice and human rights Ability to work independently and collaboratively Excellent organisation and attention to detail
