We are seeking a dedicated and professional Trainee Solicitor to join our legal team and begin their journey towards qualification. You will work closely with experienced solicitors and other professionals, predominately in the conveyancing department dealing with both residential and commercial conveyancing transactions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting clients across diverse sectors. You will gain valuable hands on experience and direct exposure to clients.
You will assist with the drafting of legal documents, attend client meetings and conduct research. Throughout your training you will receive comprehensive supervision, mentoring and structural development to help you reach your full potential as a solicitor.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
Has graduated with a qualifying law degree (or a non law degree with the conversion course completed)
Has undertaken and passed the LPC
is able to demonstrate strong communication, research and analytical skills
is organised, detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
is a team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent client service
is confident to network and participate in marketing and business development
is able to work independently if required and on your own initiative
is committed to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards.
Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents with precision and clarity.
Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations across a range of issues.
Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings as required.
Conducting legal research to stay informed of relevant laws, regulations, and precedents.
Managing case files efficiently, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Attending meetings and providing strategic legal guidance to support client objectives.
