We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our growing Property Team as a Trainee Solicitor under the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) route. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a supportive and highly skilled department.
Please note: This position is subject to the successful completion of a six-month probationary period as a Paralegal within the Property Team. Upon successful probation and continued strong performance, the role will transition into a Trainee Solicitor position, contributing to your Qualifying Work Experience (QWE).
Key Responsibilities
Paralegal Phase (first 6 months):
Assisting fee earners with all aspects of residential property matters
Drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondence
Conducting legal research and preparing reports
Managing files, liaising with clients, and supporting the wider team
Providing general administrative and legal support to enable smooth case progression
Trainee Solicitor Phase (post-probation):
Handling supervised caseloads within the Property Team
Developing technical skills in residential property transactions
Taking an increasingly active role in client communication and matter management
Contributing to the wider team and firm initiatives as part of your professional development
About You
Law degree (LLB or equivalent) - essential
Experience in property law - preferred though not required (for example, a previous Paralegal role or relevant work experience)
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively within a team
Proactive, professional, and eager to develop a long-term career in property law
Commitment to completing the SQE qualification route
