GLL is currently recruiting Trainee Swimming Teachers

to join our growing team across the Hillingdon Partnership in preparation for the exciting opening of the

West Drayton Platinum Jubilee Centre

.

What's involved

As part of this programme, you'll take part in a fully funded

STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming

--a nationally recognised qualification that provides the essential skills to teach non-swimmers, beginners and improvers.


Upon successful completion, you'll join one of our local Swim School teams at one or more of our

four Hillingdon sites

, working with experienced Lead Teachers who will support you through your first steps as a qualified teacher.

What we're looking for

We're looking for people who are:


Passionate about swimming and helping others Competent swimmers Approachable, patient, and positive in nature Strong communicators (verbal and non-verbal) Motivating, imaginative, and encouraging Willing to commit to a 5-day intensive training course Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
