Your Role as a Future Supervisor
In this role, you'll work closely with the Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our industrial laundry facility, ensuring a safe and productive environment for your team. You'll receive support and guidance from both the management team and your fellow colleagues as you work your way through a tailored training and development programme.
Once your training is complete, you'll be responsible for running a shift working with a small team of production operators to maintain the high standards of quality, quantity, and service that our customers expect. What You'll Be Doing:
Initially you will be shadowing the Production Manager and current Supervisor to gain hands-on experience whilst working your way through your training and development programme
Developing leadership skills and learning how to effectively lead a team
Understanding our processes with the goal of training others in the future
Maintaining workflow and ensuring production targets are met
Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment
Assisting in various production departments as needed
Monitoring inventory levels and optimising the use of supplies
Key Responsibilities of a Supervisor:
Assist the Production Manager with daily operational challenges to ensure smooth operations
Train operators on processes safely and in accordance with company policies
Monitor and exceed daily production targets
Ensure the timely completion of production units with a focus on quality and KPI achievement
Maintain cleanliness and handle housekeeping duties, including the outside yard area
Be responsible for start-up in the morning and shut down in the evening, depending on your shift

Hours & Shift Flexibility
