The Role
The right trainee candidate will be joining a small office-based team in the sales department at Esion's factory in Langham, Colchester.
The individual will be working alongside new and existing clients on small to national projects; you will be a key representative of the company and will become a primary technical contact overseeing new projects from the early development stage to passing over to the design and manufacturing departments.
You will be developing, proposing and quoting solutions to limit the client's equipment's noise emissions to designated target levels, respecting any spatial restrictions all whilst maintaining adequate airflow and ventilation.
You will be trained in using and developing in-house created IT solutions, to run acoustic and airflow calculations whilst constantly refining, improving and adding new features and capabilities.
You will be trained in our manufacturing processes to ensure competence in offering achievable solutions.
You will help develop upcoming new product lines and unrealised opportunities, whilst maintaining existing business relationships and approaching new clients.
As a member of a hardworking and dedicated small team you will be expected to be a keen team player and flexible in your role across different aspects of the overall business.
The Candidate
The successful candidate doesn't need prior experience in acoustics, manufacturing or ventilation (although this will of course be useful). The successful candidate doesn't require a sales background.

Excellent IT skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and a keen interest in Excel.
