Trainee Welding Technician

Remit & Responsibilities:



Equipment and Application Support:

Assist in the evaluation and development of recommendations for equipment and application improvements, gaining experience in operational enhancements

Quality and Usage Monitoring:

Support the monitoring of welding and pre-heating gas quality and usage on the project, reporting any discrepancies to senior staff.

Equipment Packing Coordination:

Work alongside Technician and Senior Technicians to assist in the packing and documentation for equipment returns, ensuring all necessary paperwork is prepared for CRC-Evans logistics.

Calibration and Validation Assistance:

Aid in the calibration and validation processes for welding equipment when required, ensuring the proper documentation is produced to certify equipment readiness for the project's duration.

Spare Parts and Consumable Reporting:

Assist in monitoring and updating reports on spare parts and consumable usage, requesting required materials in a timely manner and reporting any increases in consumption to the relevant managers.

What We're Looking For:



Essential:

Experience in mechanical, electrical, or automotive fields (e.g., agricultural mechanical roles, car mechanics, electricians).

Desirable:

Recent college leaver with an apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics.

Qualifications:

Recognised qualifications in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical.
