Trainee Window Fitter

Windowmate Fermanagh supplies and fits uPVC and aluminium windows and doors. We have 3 other branches (2 in NI and one in Scotland) and we are part of the Gaffer Group of companies.

Windowmate Fermanagh, based in Maguiresbridge, now requires a Trainee Window Fitter to join our team.

Trainee Window Fitter

Training in a team learning to fit uPVC and aluminum windows and doors in residential and commercial properties

Loading and unloading vans

Handling glass

Dealing with customers politely and respectfully

Learning how to complete window and door maintenance

40 Hours per week working between 0800 and 1800, finishing at 1600 on a Friday

Full time contract

6-month probation period

Essential Skills/Qualification/Abilities

Have experience working with hand tools

Display a high level of enthusiasm, initiative and self-motivation

Good attention to detail

Ability to communicate effectively

Confidence in dealing with customers in a friendly manner

Have a desire to develop new skills

Have an excellent time and attendance record.

Full driving licence

Please note:

1. This is a salaried position with competitive pay which will be increased as you become more experienced. Trainee rates 18-20 years old 11.00 per hour and over 20 years 12.21 per hour. Both rates increasing by 1 per hour after successful completion of probationary period.
