An excellent opportunity for someone keen to progress a career in a commercial kitchen as a Chef. This position is aimed to give the potential candidate to either progress as a chef or come in to start their training alongside experienced chefs and kitchen staff. For someone starting out this role would offer an officially recognised apprenticeship to include all levels of training in all aspects of local authority regulations and relevant certification. For a candidate with some cookin experience we will offer continuation of training with full support for courses and exams. The position is flexible and we will ensure the successful candidate is fully supported to achieve their personal goal and standards their ambition desires. Any expenses involved in training, exams, clothing or equipment will be covered by the employer. In addition an excellent salary will paid along with very comforatble accommodation if required making it an attractive proposition for candiadtes outside the area. The employer is committed to ensuring the welfare of the successful candidate resulting in a fully qualified chef with a wealth of experience and qualifications. Prior experience in food production, culinary arts, or hospitality is an advantage but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided. Responsibilities



Assist senior chefs in daily operational tasks and project activities Support the implementation of new dishes and menus Participate in routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment Contribute to menu development and new innovations in the kitchen Follow health and safety protocols diligently, ensuring compliance with food safety standards Learn about all Documentation required by local authority Environmental Health Officers and keep paperwork up to date, correctly completed. Collaborate with team members across departments such as food preparation, kitchen operations, and hospitality services Attend training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills

Requirements



Basic understanding of food production or culinary processes is desirable Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or kitchen environments is advantageous but NOT essential or necessary Demonstrated an enthusiasm to learn leadership and supervisory skills Work well with other staff as part of a strong team Knowledge of food safety standards and practices Good organisational skills with attention to detail Willingness to learn new technical skills and adapt to evolving processes Relevant experience in food preparation, cooking, or serving roles is a plus A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills Ability to work effectively under supervision in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,420.00-32,000.00 per year
