We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, supporting our dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist in various dental procedures, maintain patient records, and contribute to a welcoming environment for all patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide high-quality patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using IT systems. Ensure that the dental surgery is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Sterilise instruments and manage infection control protocols effectively. Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure a smooth workflow within the practice. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in dental nursing.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to supporting individuals during their dental visits. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and utilising practice management software. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in English is essential for clear communication within the practice. Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
