Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering exceptional dental services. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and maintaining patient comfort. Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide reassurance. Ensure that the dental practice is clean, organised, and compliant with infection control protocols. Support the team in managing appointments and coordinating patient schedules.

Skills

Strong IT skills for managing patient records and practice management software. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure clear communication with patients and colleagues. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the dental team. Previous experience as a dental nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.

Work pattern

Mondays 8:30am - 5:30pm (lunch 1-2) Wednesdays 8:30am - 5:30pm (lunch 1-2) Thursdays 8:30am - 5:30pm (lunch 1-2) Fridays 8:30am - 1:30pm
