Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our brand new dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care assisting the specialists and therapist during clinical procedures, ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of orthodontic dental treatment. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a professional approach and a welcoming environment for patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentists during treatment procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use. Provide exceptional patient care by supporting patients ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with health regulations and legislation. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness of the treatment area in accordance with HTM-0105 and all health and safety guidelines. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions (if trained to do so) Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

Skills

Proficient IT skills for managing patient records. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment. A background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs is desirable.
Salary will be according to experience and discussed at interview.
