Healthy Dialogues is a small consultancy company that supports the public and third sector develop and deliver health behaviour change strategies for communities and populations.
We are seeking a number of sessional trainers who are passionate about public health and behaviour change. This role will involve delivering behaviour change training sessions to various groups, utilising your expertise to facilitate impactful learning experiences.
Key responsibilities:
Facilitate and deliver training sessions focused on behaviour change to a diverse range of participants
Develop training materials and resources that align with current public health guidelines and best practices
Conduct pre- and post-training evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the training and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with other trainers and team members to continuously improve the training programme
Stay updated with the latest research and trends in behaviour change and public health
Healthy Dialogues would like to you to have awareness of behavioural change theoretical principles and have applied these in training delivery / group facilitation. Healthy Dialogues are happy to provide development opportunities and support to increase your skills in these areas.
Personal attributes:
A postgraduate degree in a public health related subject or equivalent is essential
Knowledge and experience in delivering Motivational Interviewing Training
Creative and pro-active with strong planning and time management skills
Empathy and excellent interpersonal skills to engage and motivate participants
Ability to manage group dynamics to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
Self-starter who can work independently and confidently interact with clients
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to the needs of a small, dynamic team
Located within East of England and East Anglia regions.
Working pattern
:
We are looking for trainers who can work on a sessional basis, with flexibility to deliver training sessions as needed. This could include:
6-8 days per month
Ad hoc basis focused on delivering specific training courses
Participation in occasional research projects
