Self-Employed Facilitator, Trainer & Coach

ESG Education is expanding its national delivery of the FranklinCovey Leader in Me programme and is seeking exceptional self-employed Facilitators, Trainers and Coaches to work with schools, academies, trusts, and universities across the UK.

This role is ideal for teachers and school leaders, independent leadership consultants, and experienced corporate facilitators who are passionate about leadership, character education, and empowering young people and educators to thrive.

About The Leader in Me

The Leader in Me is a whole-school transformation programme grounded in Stephen R. Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. It develops:

Leadership for teachers, students and families

Personal responsibility Life skills and student voice Wellbeing and resilience Positive distributed leadership school culture
The programme is used in thousands of schools worldwide and is increasingly adopted by UK schools seeking sustainable improvements in behaviour, attendance, staff culture, and outcomes.

The Role

As a self-employed Facilitator working with ESG Education, you will:

Deliver high-impact FranklinCovey training to teachers, senior leaders, and school staff Facilitate INSET days, twilight sessions, and leadership workshops Coach school leaders and implementation teams Support schools through culture change and leadership development Represent ESG Education and FranklinCovey with professionalism and credibility Delivery may be in-person or online, depending on school needs.

Who This Role Is For

We welcome applications from:

Teachers & School Leaders Current or former teachers, middle leaders, senior leaders, or headteachers Strong understanding of school culture, staff development, and pupil leadership Independent Consultants & Coaches Leadership, wellbeing, or education consultants Experience facilitating adult learning and change programmes Corporate Facilitators Experienced trainers or facilitators delivering leadership or behavioural programmes Professionals transitioning from corporate environments into education
You do not need prior FranklinCovey delivery experience -- full certification is provided.

Essential Skills & Attributes

Strong facilitation and presentation skills Confidence working with adults in group settings Ability to inspire, challenge, and engage diverse audiences Values-led, professional, and reflective practitioner Willingness to travel regionally as required Commitment to completing FranklinCovey certification
Training & Certification

Successful applicants must complete official FranklinCovey certification for The Leader in Me programme.

ESG Education will:

Guide you through the certification process Provide ongoing quality assurance, resources, and support Offer opportunities to deliver across multiple programmes over time

This is a self-employed role offering:
