Looking to take your training expertise to the next level? At LMUK SS, you'll be more than just a trainer -- you'll be shaping the skills and knowledge of the Royal Navy and our own people. Work Pattern: (9/75) 9-day fortnight or (4xFlex) 4-day week (days can vary depending on training delivery schedule). Hybrid working with typically 1-2 days a week working remotely.



What You'll Do

Design

engaging training modules to Defence Standards

Deliver

training to LMUK SS personnel and the Royal Navy

Support

operational training outputs and wider team goals

Review & update

training documentation to ensure compliance with Defence and company quality standards

Required skills, qualifications and experience




? Experience in training design and delivery

? Technical Training experience in Engineering, Defence, Armed Forces, Emergency Services or a similar environment

? Strong communication and presentation skills -- confident in front of a room

? Excellent organisational skills and the ability to balance priorities

? A proactive, flexible and motivated approach



Desirable skills





Strategic Weapon System (SWS) experience (Operator or Trainer) Hands-on engineering background Training Needs Analysis experience Knowledge of Defence instructional standards

Business Environment




Lockheed Martin UK - Strategic Systems (LMUK SS) is the single contractor providing specialist Waterfront In-Service Support to one of the Royal Navy's Submarine Programs. The company provides the Ministry of Defence (MoD) with safe, efficient and responsive support. LMUK SS, as part of the ABL Alliance with AWE and Babcock, is also responsible for the management of operations at RNAD Coulport. Looking to the future, LMUK SS supports the joint US and UK submarine design efforts.
