Job Description

We're looking for a Training and Recruitment Assistant to support our Food & Beverage department, led by the Aramark team at Chessington World of Adventures Resort.
In this role, you'll help us welcome new team members, deliver engaging induction sessions and support recruitment processes behind the scenes. Your work will play an important part in building a motivated, guest focused team who help create memorable experiences for our visitors every day.

Responsibilities

• Attending internal and external recruitment events such as open days and job fairs, building relationships in the area
• Screening candidates and tracking applications using our Application Tracking System
• Leading front-line interviews and supporting recruitment events
• Delivery of regular engaging and welcoming new starter inductions to provide initial training and communicate essential standards in Food Safety and Health & Safety, as well as company policies
• Supporting potential candidates and new starters with general enquiries, being their point of contact until their first shift in the business
• Logging and tracking training completions and ensuring renewals are up to date
• Keeping records organised and accurate, from training logs to job applications

Requirements

• Holds a full UK driving license and has access to a vehicle (not all events in the area are accessible by public transport)
• Is confident in presenting and communicating, and able to motivate a team
• Has strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
• Can prioritise tasks effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
• Can maintain a positive, proactive attitude

Desirable, but not essential

• Previous experience or an understanding of hospitality, food and beverage or theme park operations
• Has previous experience in recruitment or the training of colleagues or new starters
