The Role
Are you passionate about supporting, mentoring and developing your colleagues? If so, this role is an excellent development opportunity for an experienced conveyancer who is looking to build, coach, train and inspire their colleagues by imparting their own conveyancing technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
To assist with the growth of fee earning capacity within the firm, via the success of the Trainee Conveyancer Programme.
To develop Trainee Conveyancers within the Trainee Conveyancer Programme to ensure they are equipped to handle a mix of re-mortgage, sale and purchase files
To provide technical/legal support and guidance to Trainees
To provide training on all aspects of the conveyancing process including Searches, Sale Enquiries, Title Checking, Exchange, and Completion.
To provide one to one support and mentoring as required
To review work allocated and undertaken by Trainees on a daily basis
Working with the Head of Training to ensure that each Trainee has a tailored training plan with key training targets agreed/achieved within defined timescales
To monitor training targets within the Trainee Conveyancer Programme in order that they are achieved and so that Trainees are signed off and can effectively move into a fee earning role within a set period of time
To escalate any training concerns to the Head of Training
To ensure that Trainees comply with all LPL practices and policies and are working effectively.
To provide Trainees with prompt, accurate, and constructive feedback.
To maintain high staff morale and engagement with each other and the collective company objectives - leading by example, being an exemplary role model, and providing a positive outlook at all times.
To offer non-client facing support as and when required
To offer title checking support as and when required
REQUIREMENTS
Strong technical conveyancing knowledge and experience working as a conveyancer handling a range of conveyancing transactions
Experience mentoring and supporting a team
Highly organised with excellent communication skills
Team player
Pro-active
Genuine interest in helping and supporting colleagues
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 27.5 per week
