We are looking for someone enthusiastic about working in an outdoor environment, dedicated to supporting the Military. Landmarc provide full training and continuous development opportunities, making this a fantastic opportunity to start a career on the Defence Training Estate.


Join our dedicated team as a Training Area Operative and play a key part in helping to maintain a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to train.

Contract:

Variable Hours (Minimum 8 hours per month guaranteed)

Shifts:

Usually early mornings and late evenings, weekend work will be applicable.

Rota's:

Provided monthly to ensure availability

Location:

West Tofts Camp, Thetford, Norfolk, IP26 5EP

Main Responsibilities

Preparing training areas for use manufacturing and deploying targets driving and operating fleet vehicles Deploy warning systems including training control gates, flags and lights To liaise with all stakeholders to ensure effective training area delivery e.g. Handover / take back of facilities and or ranges with service users and Completing the relevant handover documentation. the Employers representatives regarding training area safety and usage Direct, support and advice training estate users both civilian and military.

The Ideal Candidate

A full UK Manual Driving Licence (essential) Enjoy working outdoors Strong communication skills Awareness of Health & Safety protocols Flexibility and reliability A good team player with a practical mindset Previous experience working on Military training areas and Ranges Desirable.

About the Company
