The Training Centre Operations Coordinator is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the London training centre, ensuring it operates to the highest professional, operational, and brand standards. Acting as the central point of contact onsite, this role creates a welcoming and well-organised environment for students, trainers, and visitors, while enabling the Education team to deliver best-in-class training experiences.
With a strong focus on front-of-house excellence, facility management, and operational support, the Training Centre Operations Coordinator ensures training spaces are fully prepared, processes are followed consistently, and resources are available to support learning, retail activity, and events. This role plays a key part in maintaining a seamless student experience and upholding the standards of the ELEMIS Academy of Excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Front of House & Facility Operations
Greet students, and visitors professionally
Manage access to the training centre (door, sign-in, visitor process)
Act as first point of contact onsite for queries
Ensure rooms are allocated, prepared, and reset according to schedule
Follow daily open and close procedures for the training centre
Escalate facilities issues promptly and track resolution
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional learning environment
Ensure training rooms and centre are following standard operating processes and in line with brand standards.
Liaises with Facilities team and Head office to ensure training center meets expected standards.
Education Staff Induction (Facility-Focused)
Induct new education staff, trainers, and visiting team members to the facility
When relevant:
o Show where resources and equipment is located
o Explain how rooms are set up and reset
o Key facility processes and expectations
o Health and safety induction to facilities and emergency processes
Act as the "go-to" for practical, onsite process questions
Student Experience & Retail Support
Manage student store sales at the training centre
Process transactions accurately
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
Maintain tidy, well-presented retail displays
Escalate stock replenishment needs
Operational Support & Administration
Manage post, parcels, and courier deliveries
Support room setup
Track and upload attendance for London-based training
Log equipment issues and escalate to the appropriate owner
Manage process of models required for training
Support the education inbox with basic customer queries when needed
Onboard new staff members to the EHub and work with people team on their education journey, including immersion day at the academy.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Highly organised and process-driven
Comfortable managing physical spaces and stock
Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented
Previous admin, retail, hospitality, or facilities experience desirable
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems quickly.
Location: This role is based full-time at the ELEMIS Academy of Excellence.
Physical Activity: The role involves some physical activity, including the ability to lift and move boxes of stock, equipment, and materials, up to approximately 15kg.
Event Support: Occasional evening or out-of-hours support may be required for events hosted at the academy.
