Some of our subject include Microsoft Office, Office and Secretarial, Sage, Accounts and Bookkeeping, Business and Management, IT, Software and Web Development and Graphic Design.Our diplomas and courses are self-paced, and designed to give our students the flexibility to study at times that suit and fit their lifestyle - either at in-centre, online, or a mixture of both.Throughout, they have the support of our in-house Learning Coaches for queries, guidance, motivation and encouragement in order to help them achieve their goals - and that?EUR(TM)s where you would come in!Alongside our commitment to helping our students achieve their career aspirations, we also host a wide range of e-assessments in our training centre.ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Pitman Training Centre Supervisor, you will be accountable for day to day management of the centre alongside a team of 2, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.You will be primarily responsible for overseeing the following areas, and day to day tasks will include:Student support:

  • Ensuring that all our Pitman students are supported, motivated and encouraged throughout their learning journey.
  • Providing a first point of contact for all queries in relation to student studies, ensuring resolution.
  • Responsible for student welfare, developing rapport, celebrating student?EUR(TM)s success.
  • Motivating and encouraging students to help them reach their career and training goals.
  • Monitor student progression, and where students face learning barriers, conduct discussions to aid completion.
  • Managing escalated student and team queries and concerns
  • General Administration and record keeping, ensuring high levels of accuracy.
  • Attaining specific performance KPIs to ensure the highest standards and performance.
Examinations:
  • Manage a diary of e-assessments contracts, seeking opportunities to maximise these where possible.
  • Downloading of examinations software
  • Co-ordinating, preparing, administrating and invigilating high stake examinations.
General:
  • Providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Taking responsibility for the day to day running, and upkeep of the training centre
  • Putting together rotas, managing holiday schedules
  • Undertaking any other duties reasonably requested in the delivery of the companies?EUR(TM) objectives.
  • Assisting with the continued generation of content for social media platforms.

  • Passionate about helping others
  • Experience in administration, customer-focused environment, or other related role
  • Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to use initiative
  • Pro-active, self- motivated and willing to learn new skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite essential
  • Bonus if you have any accounting/medical or legal knowledge
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workload, and a proven ability to work with little supervision
  • An experienced and enthusiastic team player, able to provide comprehensive support for the wider team to achieve their goals
  • Pitman Training Diploma or relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)
Whilst these skills are important, it is personality and attitude that is key for this role, and you will need to have a genuine interest in people and their professional development journey.Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, based on a shift pattern, including some evenings until 8 pm and Saturdays. Where a Saturday is worked, an additional day off during the week is given.Benefits:
