Training Contract Paralegal
We're looking for Paralegals who already have a Training Contract secured for September 2026 or 2027 and are eager to learn and develop before their TC begins!
Our busy US law firm client, based in a stunning City location, is seeking a Paralegal to join their UK Banking team. This role offers exposure to high-level work from day one, so candidates should possess strong academics and a solid work ethic.

Responsibilities of the Training Contract Paralegal:
  • Be an active member of the deal team to generally assist in transaction management throughout the lifecycle of a deal.
  • Review and edit transaction documents for sense, consistency, cross reference accuracy, facts, calculations, and typographical errors.
  • Prepare, update, assemble and distribute transaction documents to clients and other counsels.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing corporate authorisations and other conditions precedent documentation.
  • Assist with due diligence matters by reviewing VDRs and preparing Language Lists.
  • Draft due diligence memorandum, call logs, fact back up charts and transfers circle ups.
  • Carry out various company registry searches and other factual research.
  • Prepare and maintain signing/closing checklists, prepare signature packs, and prepare closing sets and bound volumes.
Requirements of the Training Contract Paralegal:
  • Must have a Training Contract in place for September 2026 onwards.
  • Excellent academic qualifications are essential.
  • GDL and LPC or SQE 1 and 2 qualifications are essential.
  • Strong IT/computer skills - Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems.
