We are currently looking for a proactive and organised
Training Coordinator
to manage a defined cohort of apprentices across a group of subject sector areas. The role is central to coordinating effective communication between the college, employers, and learners, ensuring all aspects of the apprenticeship journey from enrolment to timely completion are effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a cohort of apprentices and work-based learners from enrolment to successful, timely completion.
Conduct Initial Advice and Guidance (IAG) and lead learner inductions.
Track and monitor learner progress using platforms such as
ProMonitor
and maintain up-to-date eILPs (electronic Individual Learning Plans).
Analyse data to ensure timely achievement, accurate enrolments, and effective learner progression.
Carry out regular progress reviews with both learners and employers to add value and document progression.
Act as the first point of contact for employers within your designated subject sector areas.
Liaise between delivery staff and employers to ensure training delivery supports on and off the job learning.
Keep up to date with changes to apprenticeship standards and sector-specific training needs.
Support marketing and employer engagement activities relevant to your sector.
Perform a range of administrative duties including exam registrations, booking rooms, EPA coordination and feedback collection.
Essential Requirements:
Experience in managing or coordinating apprenticeships or work-based learning programmes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employers, learners, and staff.
Solid understanding of apprenticeship standards and funding rules in England.
Competency in using Microsoft Office tools.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A commitment to learner success and continuous improvement in training delivery.
Desirable:
A relevant assessor or internal verifier qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, CAVA).
Experience of designing apprenticeship learning programmes tailored to employer needs.
Knowledge of End Point Assessment (EPA) processes
