The role
We are looking to appoint a confident, highly organised individual who is approachable, flexible and displays excellent communication skills. This role will require the successful candidate to work at pace, prioritise and work well under pressure. The successful candidate will come from a training or administrative background qualification or experience.
In your role you will be responsible for the preparation and management of a full training program including Inductions, Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Training and Training Presentations whilst ensuring all records are kept organised and up to date.
You will thrive in a very busy and demanding environment that requires the ability to multi-task effectively, remaining professional at all times. You will be comfortable working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Main Responsibilities
Working to BRC and ISO Standards and retailer requirements
Compliance of company policies, legislative requirements include financial, health and safety, BRC, ISO standards and HR related issues
To prepare and manage the training programme for all employees and job roles at Simpsons Beverages
Ensure all training records and trackers are kept up to date at all times
Coordinate with external training providers to book relevant course
Develop SOP's for processes within the company
Managing PPE issue and PPE supplies, ensuring they meet the H&S site requirements.
Maintain employee communication through notice boards and monthly updates
Meet KPIs for employee training
Note taking during investigations or other personnel meetings where required.
Ad hoc projects and duties alongside to aid the Customer Service team
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will:
Previous training experience / qualification
Previous experience working in a food / manufacturing environment
Be IT literate in particular knowledge in using Microsoft Office packages
Have strong communication skills
Have the ability to work effectively within a team environment
Be flexible and adaptable
