About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, organised and professional
Training & Office Coordinator
to join our team. This is a key front-of-house role based in reception, where you'll be the first point of contact for students, visitors, and industry partners.
You'll handle daily administrative and customer service duties, including managing calls, emails, walk-in enquiries, bookings, and payments. The role also includes supporting the wider training team with scheduling, documentation, and maintaining a smooth operation across the Academy.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for all enquiries - in person, by phone, and via email
Handle course bookings, take payments over the phone, and issue invoices
Maintain accurate records of candidates, courses, and payments
Support trainers and assessors with scheduling, documentation, and candidate communication
Assist with coordinating training sessions and managing candidate paperwork
Provide a professional and welcoming environment for all visitors and learners
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and senior industry stakeholders as required
Carry out general office duties such as filing, printing, and updating systems
About You:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident using computers and learning new systems (Microsoft Office and general IT competence required)
Highly organised with great attention to detail
Professional, friendly, and presentable
Able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
Willing to learn about the gas, heating, and renewables training industry (full training will be provided)
Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, or training centre role is desirable but not essential
