Training Coordinator

to support the growth and development of our employees and volunteers through high-quality training and learning experiences.

As part of a small, dedicated team, you'll play a key role in delivering face-to-face training, blended learning, and on-the-job development. You'll help shape our community by supporting competence assessments, maintaining training records, and contributing to continuous improvement across our services.

As part of a small, dedicated team, you'll play a key role in delivering face-to-face training, blended learning, and on-the-job development. You'll help shape our community by supporting competence assessments, maintaining training records, and contributing to continuous improvement across our services.

MAIN DUTIES



Facilitate mandatory face-to-face training sessions.

Deliver blended and on-the-job learning experiences.

Conduct competence assessments and practice observations.

Support the integration of policies, procedures, and practice improvements through learning and development.

Prepare and maintain high-quality training resources that reflect current practices and regulations.

Manage stocks of externally produced training materials to ensure availability for training needs.

Assist in planning and scheduling mandatory courses, coordinating delivery dates, and updating bookings via the LMS.

Maintain and update training records for employees and volunteers, including sign-in sheet creation and attendance tracking on the LMS and training database.

Contribute to the evaluation and quality improvement of training activities.

Assist in the production of reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

Support the management of non-compliance related to training and learning.

Participate in quality assurance and audit activities to help deliver safe and effective services.

Contribute to risk management across the community.

QUALIFICATIONS



Essential



SVQ Health & Social Care or equivalent

Desirable



Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTLLS)

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS



Essential



Experience of working in a social care environment.

Care & Support Practice: An understanding of social care practices, person-centred approaches, health and wellbeing, and safeguarding, alongside knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and regulatory frameworks. Experience with reflective practice principles and support.

Desirable



Quality Assurance & Improvement: Familiarity with audit principles, improvement methodologies, reporting, and evaluation.

Health & Safety: Experience or skills related to one or more of the following: Health and Safety Awareness, Infection Prevention and Control, Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, Food Hygiene, Basic Life Support and First Aid, Emergency Procedures, and Risk Management.

General Administration experience.

Ability to manage workload and project schedules.

Competence in resource management.

Proficiency in digital tools (such as Microsoft Office and Teams) for record keeping and communication.
