THALES are looking to recruit a dedicated Training Designer & Technical Author to work within a team of courseware designers and create, maintain and manage Learning Management System (LMS) content for programmes to customer requirements

You will be based at Crawley.

What will you deliver?

• To create, maintain and manage Learning Management System (LMS) content.
• Consistently demonstrate the value of a range of Learning and Development techniques.
• Work with end user to articulate the training programme deliverables.
• Recommend changes to training affected processes and procedures and follow through with required updates.
• Provide training decision outputs within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority.
• Analysis of trending training data to manage learning and recommend changes required to improve learning outcomes for the end users.
• Analyse, design and deliver training to UK MOD JSP822 standards to ensure the Company training outputs remain compliant.
• Compile data, to a variety of national / international /civil / military specifications, and produce physical/electronic deliverables.
• Deliver training to the customer.
• Take responsibility for contributing to team planning, risk management, quality and HSE.
• Set targets for and manage own development with line manager. Seek and share good practice and knowledge to continuously improve own practices.

Who are we looking for?

• HNC/D in an Engineering discipline
• Qualification in Training/Learning/e-learning creation
• Demonstrable success in provisioning and delivering training programmes in the Post Compulsory Education & Training sector
• Utilisation and tailoring of Systemised Approach to Training (DSAT, ADDIE)
• Planning and preparing teaching and learning programmes for groups and individuals
• Create and maintain e-learning content
• Assessing the outcomes of learning and learners achievement
• Strong proficiency within standard Microsoft office packages/Authoring tools
