Job Description

The Diocese of Guildford is seeking a part- time dynamic and visionary Training Lead to coordinate and deliver high quality training for lay and ordained leaders across the diocese.


This strategic role involves shaping our Clergy Continuing Ministerial Development (CMD) programme, developing our online training portal, and leading the Resourcing Ministry training strand which looks at developing new training initiatives in response to parish needs.


Some of the Key Responsibilities include:


Coordinating the annual diocesan Training Plan Lead the development of our online training portal Coordination of all training events across Church House Guildford teams Deliver training sessions based on your expertise Collaborating with the Foundations in Ministry (FiM) Programme Lead to create a clear and accessible lay leadership training pathway Promote a culture of shared learning and best practice

We are looking for someone who is:


Educated to degree level or equivalent with an understanding of church life. Experienced in developing and delivering training programmes Comfortable working with online learning platforms (e.g., Moodle) and digital tools Able to work regularly on a Saturday for course delivery

This role can be combined with the FiM Programme Lead to create a full-time role.
