ARAG UK Group, a market-leading insurance and legal services provider, has a new opportunity for an experienced Training Manager to lead our Claims Training team made up of trainers and coordinators over two sites (Central Bristol and Bedwas, Wales) to deliver the claims development strategy, ensuring that our claims colleagues receive effective training that ensures maximum competence.
In this pivotal role, you'll be driving performance throughout the team through coaching and support to trainers and facilitators; championing excellent customer service with the goal of delivering good customer outcomes and working closely with other areas of the business to inform all stages of the learning programme is identified.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Skills Gap Analysis: Identify training needs and priorities through needs assessments, performance evaluations, management information and stakeholder feedback
Design: Design and develop targeted training solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders ensuring you consider all learning styles and neuro diversity.
Delivery: Deliver training programs using various instructional techniques and formats, including facilitating classroom training, e-learning, action learning groups and guides.
Evaluation:Implement processes to measure training effectiveness and employee competency levels, ensuring continuous improvement.
Reporting: Maintain accurate training records, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights to senior management.
About You

We would welcome applications from candidates who have training management experience. Although a background in insurance or financial services would be desirable, it is by no means essential for success within this role. Instead, we are seeking candidates who can demonstrate a positive and forward thinking attitude who can inspire others. You will need experience in people management and must have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
As an experienced Training Manager, you will have:
A demonstrable track record of designing and implementing training programs.
Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
Project management skills for managing training initiatives and timelines.
Ability to assess training needs and develop training plans in the company.
Strong leadership and team management abilities to inspire and motivate others.
