We are seeking a commercially minded, dynamic training professional to lead our team of trainers - someone who wants to make a genuine difference in our sector. Working closely with our team of trainers, Fairway Healthcare, employers and our wider operations, you will deliver programmes that make a difference to the communities and clients we serve.
Job Purpose
1. Lead on the recruitment, performance management and development of the training team
2. Support the development of the SAR, QIP and associated quality assurance activities
3. Ensure that all programmes are delivered to the highest standards
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Manage day to day operations of the training team
Develop and implement workflow systems that support an effective learner and employer journey
Support the delivery of training as required
Support effective trainer utilisation with the operations team
Liaise with employers as required
Develop programmes that are innovative and meet learner and employer needs
Implement the Trainer Charter
Lead on the recruitment of a highly skilled delivery team
Maintain trainer CPD in line with sector and qualification requirements
Contribute to the completion of the SAR/QIP
Implement Trainer Progression Pathways programme
Undertake trainer 1-to-1s and appraisals
Identify and address any trainer underperformance
Query resolution for learners and employers
Explore and incorporate the latest technology and AI to aid the creation and implementation of online and hybrid learning
Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new training methodologies
Foster and firmly establish a robust communal and collaborative environment across all departments Embark and Fairway Healthcare
Engage with all stakeholders on matters related to delivery
Person Specification
Experience & Qualifications:
Essential
Proven, extensive experience in designing and delivering training programmes within the health and social care sector and over a variety of programmes, levels and settings
Experience of managing a successful delivery team
Experience of delivering accredited qualifications in Care at various levels
Assessors Award (CAVA/A1/D32/D33)
L4 Teaching qualification (CET or equivalent) minimum
Desirable
L5 Teaching qualification or higher, IQA qualification, employer engagement/commercial experience, understanding of funding
