The Training and Early Careers Department at GE Aerospace Wales is looking for a dynamic and passionate Training Specialist to lead the development of the next generation of people leaders. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery, as you will design leadership development pathways and facilitate engaging training sessions across all levels of the organisation within the highly regulated Aerospace Industry.

Role and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement structured development pathways and training programs tailored to all pay bandings.
Design and update training materials, including slide decks, activities, and e-learning content.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and senior trainers to ensure training content aligns with organisational goals.
Coordinate and deliver training programs for:
Apprentices and placement students
Graduate trainees and early-career professionals
Emerging and aspiring leaders
Newly appointed team leaders and managers
Senior and executive-level leaders
Facilitate both classroom-based and virtual training sessions, adapting delivery to suit diverse audiences.
Gather and analyse feedback to continuously improve training effectiveness and learner experience.
Maintain accurate training records, schedules, and attendance logs using the company's Learning Management System (LMS).
Promote development opportunities through internal communications such as newsletters, intranet posts, and presentations.
Participate in learning & development events, workshops, and internal projects as needed.
Required Qualifications and Experience:

Educated to degree level or possessing equivalent practical experience in Learning and Development.
Proven experience delivering presentations to groups (both virtual and in-person).
Basic understanding of leadership principles & behaviours (formal training is advantageous but not required).
