Tram Drivers

who take pride in their work, enjoy driving, and are committed to delivering excellent customer service.

As a Tram Driver you will work an average of 40 hours per week, consisting of a variety of shifts over 7 days, with a minimum of 12 hours rest between shifts. Shift time vary, with the earliest currently starting at 04:57, and the latest finishing at 02:11. You will be committed to delivering an exceptional service to our customers, by maintaining the highest safety standards and being able to work under pressure.

What we're looking for:

Enjoy driving and able to follow instructions. Ability to concentrate for long periods. Professional attitude and excellent communication skills. You'll represent the company professionally, deliver excellent customer service, and communicate clearly with passengers --especially during delays. You will have the ability to work under pressure and handle difficult situations calmly and effectively. - especially during disruptions. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, currently working between 04:57 and 02:11. Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changes at short notice. Full driving licence held for at least 12 months with a maximum of 6 points. Previous professional driving experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.

Application process:

We have assessments days taking place during January and February, which will consist of observation and psychometric tests in the morning, and a competency-based interview in the afternoon. These will take place on one of the following days:

Wednesday 28th January 2026 Wednesday 11th February 2026 Thursday 26th February 2026

Salary:

27,532.06 rising to 32,659.50 after 9 months and 34,416.32 after 2 years
