We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a focus on commercial driving and flatbed operations to contribute to our efficient supply chain.
Responsibilities
Operate tractor unit with box trailer in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
Deliver goods to specified locations promptly, ensuring accurate loading and unloading procedures
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with legal requirements
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols during transit
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or potential delays
Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained throughout shifts
Skills
Must have held a Class C+E Licence for at least 2 years and be aged 30 or over.

Proven experience in driving commercial vehicles, particularly articulated lorries
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record (Max 6 points)
Ability to operate heavy goods vehicle safely and efficiently
Good organisational skills for managing delivery schedules and paperwork
Physical fitness to load, unload, and secure cargo as required
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently over long distances
Remuneration
Drivers will be paid 200 per shift
On 72 hour contracts, drivers will be paid 600 per contract
