We are seeking an experienced and strategic Transformation Program Manager to lead the end-to-end integration of a newly formed joint venture business serving the telecommunications and IT managed service provider market. This role will be responsible for orchestrating the consolidation of multiple organisations into a single, cohesive entity, ensuring alignment across people, IT, communications, and partner ecosystems supporting the wider group strategy.
Location: Field Based - Linked to the Nelson office
Salary: Competitive - DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30/9:00 - 17:00/17:30 (37.5 hours)
Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration program, ensuring delivery of synergy targets and business continuity.
  • Specifically own the business systems integration across a multi-stepped approach to maximise business benefits.
  • Drive alignment across key business stakeholders, including executive sponsors, functional leads, and external partners.
  • Manage and mentor a team of three project managers, including one focused on customer base migrations. o Develop and execute a comprehensive integration plan with clear milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee integration workstreams across people, IT systems, and communications, ensuring a consistent and transparent approach.
  • Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution across cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor and report on integration progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, agility, and accountability throughout the integration process.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading complex business integrations, ideally in joint venture or M&A contexts. Specifically, around complex IT integration.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications and IT managed services market dynamics.
  • Ability to communicate at executive level.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Expertise in base management and migration planning.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong program management capabilities, including planning, governance, and reporting.
  • Experience working with partner ecosystems and third-party vendors.
  • Professional certification in project or program management (e.g., PMP, MSP, PRINCE2).
  • Background in technology, operations, or business transformation.
  • Familiarity with integration tools and methodologies
