Purpose Of the Role:

To support all Transit Terminal (TT) operations while working collaboratively within a team environment. The role requires a proactive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to take direction to develop key skills and contribute effectively to daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate handheld scanning devices to accurately track freight Support Short Distance (SD) drivers with loading and unloading activities Follow all manual handling and health & safety procedures Maintain a clean and organised working environment (general housekeeping) Collaborate with warehouse and transport teams to ensure efficient operations Learn core terminal processes through practical, hands-on training Progress to Material Handling Equipment (MHE) training upon meeting key competencies Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and compliance briefings

The Ideal candidate will have:

A strong interest in developing a career in logistics or transport A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Good communication and teamwork abilities A proactive and reliable approach to work Basic understanding of health & safety and manual handling practices Strong attention to detail and accuracy The ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and shift patterns Basic IT or scanning device knowledge is an advantage A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment
