Liaise Limited is a leading provider of high-quality specialist support services for adults with autism and complex learning disabilities. From our beginnings as a single service in London, we have grown to 43 services across South-East England, including Basingstoke, Worthing, London, Norfolk and Peterborough. We currently support over 270 individuals and employ more than 1,000 dedicated colleagues across supported living and residential services.


Role Overview




The Transitions / Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving service growth by leading the safe, planned and person-centred transition of people we support into new and existing services. This includes overseeing pre-admission assessments, support planning, environmental readiness, staffing and training arrangements, regulatory compliance, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure continuity of care, safety, and positive outcomes from referral through to post-move review.


Key Responsibilities




Work closely with Registered Managers across the region, supported by central functions, the Senior Management Team and fellow Operations Managers. Lead the successful transition and mobilisation of new services and placements, ensuring readiness across staffing, training, environments and compliance. Promote the highest standards of care and service, ensuring quality is maintained across all aspects of operations. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships and support business growth. Take full accountability for regional performance, ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Drive financial performance by setting and managing budgets, ensuring effective cost control and revenue generation. Act as a visible and influential leader within the organisation, driving change, innovation and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with health & safety, sustainability, quality and other statutory requirements. Support the creation of safe, homely environments that meet individuals' needs and promote integration within local communities. Provide practical guidance and support to care teams to promote independence, life skills, social inclusion and emotional wellbeing. Maintain a strong working knowledge of CQC requirements and best practice in supporting people with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

Person Specification




Demonstrable leadership and management experience, with a dynamic and flexible approach. Proven experience in setting up new services and managing transition processes for people we support. Strong background within the adult learning disabilities and mental health sector. Experience operating at Operations Manager level within a complex care environment. Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
