John K Philips Group Ltd are one of the longest established logistics companies in the Northwest, who have seen huge growth and success these past few years. We now have an exciting position for a hardworking, proactive, warehouse administration operator in our new Warrington location.
The role involves receiving information from our customer services team and producing, checking & reviewing documents for our busy warehouse team, together with audit & compliance checks. We are looking for a structured, logical thinking person with attention to detail, who understands the importance of the customer needs and can work collaboratively with different departments. FIXED TERM CONTRACT
THAT MAY LEAD TO A PERMANENT CONTRACTDuties will include:
Control and update transport management system Organise the receipt of documents from the office Upload documentation to the system Organise the receipt of documents from the office Monitor and liaise with drivers Communicate with other delivery depots Brief & debrief drivers Communicate latest transport details to the customer services team Check that documentation process has been followed by the warehouse team Escalate any documentation processes not being followed, to the transport manager Collate and build reports on key performance indicators Resolve customer queries in a timely fashion Follow standard working practices
A basic understanding of Microsoft packages is essential, full training on TMS (Transport Management System)
Experience in a similar office/warehouse environment preferred
Salary: 12.60 ph
Shift: 40 Hours - Monday to Friday, 08.30am - 17:00pm
Breaks: 30 mins for lunch + 2 x 10 min shift breaks
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: 12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
