Transport Administrator

The Person
This role requires a highly organised and motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment. You'll need to be
customer-focused
, have
strong administrative skills
, and ideally possess some knowledge of
transport or recycling logistics
.
We are looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives on accuracy, and can confidently communicate with both customers and colleagues.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Inputting transport jobs into our CRM system
Collating and reporting Proof of Deliveries
Monitoring daily collections and deliveries, ensuring everything runs smoothly
Proactively reporting any operational issues affecting customer collections or deliveries
Handling customer queries and complaints, following them through to resolution
Assisting with project work and process improvements
Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the transport office
Criteria
Essential Skills & Experience:
Previous experience working in a
busy administration role
and liaising with customers
Excellent
organisation
and
time-management
skills
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people
High attention to detail and a
proactive, can-do attitude
Good IT skills, including
Microsoft Office
(Excel, Word, Outlook)
Desirable:
Experience in
transport, logistics, or recycling industries
Knowledge of waste management compliance and reporting
