Job Role

An established and expanding environmental consultancy seeks a transport and construction consultant to work on a wide variety of projects in both the domestic and non-domestic sector.

You will be working on a diverse range of projects which and it is expected that you will join us with the skills and competencies necessary to manage multiple projects and carry out the majority of assessment tasks unaided

Main Responsibilities

:

Undertake technical work and prepare associated drawings and technical details for various transport projects; Ability to produce technical reports and plans to encourage and increase sustainable transport use; Liaising with the client and key stakeholders - to include reporting on progress and providing specialist active travel advice Arranging site investigations, surveys and other related work; and to ensure technical reports take into account current policies and best practice, and are delivered on time Contribute in developing new business Liaising with clients to ensure good working relationship with them.
Key Skills

ESSENTIAL

Thorough knowledge and experience of application of relevant guidance and best practice. Experience of working with and undertaking Transport Assessments [including TRICS database] and surveys. Excellent report writing skills You will have good attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, error free work. Good level and style of communication is an essential part of the role as is an organised work manner. A personal drive to successfully conclude project specifics. Capable of working to a high degree of accuracy.
