Transport & Logistics Apprentice

to join our Transport Department, providing vital support to ensure the efficient planning, coordination, and delivery of our logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Support the Transport Manager with planning deliveries, routing, and cost control. Assist in monitoring driver hours, vehicle maintenance, and transport records. Record/report damaged loads, delays, and additional costs. Help maximize lorry utilization and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service and keep customers/sales teams updated on delivery changes. Maintain accurate transport records (holidays, sickness, absences). Follow Company practices, Quality Systems, and Health & Safety standards. Build strong relationships across teams while handling information professionally.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 16:00.

Experience:

No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.

Good Grades in GCSE English and Maths required.

A Level Grades preferable.

The successful candidate will be enrolled for a Business Administration Level 3 or other suitable apprenticeships for this role.
