Transport and Production Coordinator - Full Time

Kit Buildings is a small but growing company specialising in the supply of steel-framed buildings across the UK and internationally. We are looking for a highly organised and adaptable Transport and Production Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring that our logistics and production operations run smoothly, supporting both our internal teams and our customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and schedule transport, coordinating timely and cost-effective deliveries Liaise with hauliers and transport partners across the UK and internationally Work closely with the production team to ensure timelines and processes align Process customer orders and input accurate details into internal systems Keep production and logistics records up to date and well-organised Act as a point of contact for suppliers, clients, and internal teams, ensuring smooth and clear communication Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and professionally Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules where needed to meet customer and business needs Carry out general administrative support and assist with ad hoc tasks as required Handle incoming calls and emails with a professional and courteous approach
Who We're Looking For:

Experience in a similar role, ideally in logistics, production, or transport coordination Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Confident using logistics and order processing systems, as well as general office software A calm and practical problem-solver, able to adapt to changing requirements Someone with initiative, attention to detail, and a willingness to take responsibility in a growing business
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
9:00am - 5:30pm (30-minute unpaid break)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
