Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
(On-call rotation during the week and occasional weekend availability - approx. 1 in every 6 weeks)

Transport Coordinator

to join our growing team.

About the Role



As a Transport Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that every delivery runs smoothly, efficiently, and on time. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to work that truly matters.

Key Responsibilities



Coordinate daily transport operations: scheduling vehicles, routing, and assigning drivers Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal departments to ensure smooth deliveries Track and monitor fleet movement using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and GPS tools Ensure compliance with transport laws and health & safety regulations Maintain accurate documentation: vehicle maintenance records, driver logs, and delivery paperwork Manage and resolve transport-related issues such as delays, breakdowns, or route changes Support fleet maintenance scheduling and provide key administrative support Assist with reporting, data entry, and system updates

What We're Looking For



1-3 years' experience in a transport, logistics, or coordination role Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with fleet/transport systems a plus Knowledge of UK/EU transport regulations (e.g., driver hours, tachographs) desirable Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing business needs A genuine team player with a commitment to excellence
