We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented

Transport Coordinator

professional to join our dynamic transport team. The primary focus of this role is to provide operational support to ensure that all transport activities run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulations. You will assist with a variety of administrative, logistical, and operational tasks to help maintain the seamless execution of commercial transport operations.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:



Assist the Transport Operations team in managing daily transportation activities, including coordinating deliveries, handling logistics, and ensuring timely execution of routes. Support the planning, coordination, and scheduling of transport routes, working closely with drivers and logistics teams to ensure all deliveries are made efficiently and on time. Manage and maintain all relevant transport documentation, including delivery records, driver logs, vehicle inspection reports, and regulatory compliance paperwork. Prepare and submit regular reports on transport performance, delays, and any operational issues. Serve as a liaison between drivers, warehouse staff, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and the resolution of any operational challenges that arise during the transport process. Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure that all transport vehicles are regularly inspected, maintained, and compliant with legislation. Assist with scheduling routine maintenance and repairs. Assist with customer enquiries related to transport services, including tracking deliveries, resolving delivery issues, and maintaining a high level of service quality. Ensure that all transport activities adhere to legal requirements, including transportation safety standards, permits, and vehicle licensing. Help manage inventory in transit, track the movement of goods, and ensure that accurate records are kept for both inbound and outbound deliveries. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues that may arise during transport activities, including delays, route changes, or vehicle issues. Update and maintain accurate data in the transport management system (TMS) and other software used to track and monitor transport activities.

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. The availability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Desirable, but not essential:



LGV C+E License. DCPC card. Driver Card. Previous experience with fleet management software or GPS tracking systems. Certification in safety management or transportation compliance is a plus.
The ideal candidate should be a team player and have the ability to deliver in line with Company deadlines. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative, be self-motivated, and have a consistent work methodology.
