Job Description

We are looking for two Transport Coordinators with experience in a distribution environment to join the team at Buffaload Logistics.

The successful candidate will be expected to monitor and manage the real-time location and status of all deliveries and collections.

Specific Responsibilities and Objectives:

Monitor the real-time location and status of all deliveries and collections. Address delays or disruptions promptly by coordinating with drivers and relevant departments. Ensure timely dispatch and arrival of vehicles in line with planned schedules. Provide proactive and accurate delivery/collection status to customers real time. Maintain regular communication with shift managers to align on vehicle availability, driver status, and operational challenges. Update shift managers on any incidents, route changes, or customer issues that may impact daily targets. Support shift handovers by clearly documenting and communicating outstanding issues or follow-ups. Utilise transport management software (TMS), GPS tracking system Report any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with Buffaload Logistics' accident reporting procedure.

Experience:

Experience in a distribution environment and familiarity with using fleet telematics and TM systems is essential. Knowledge and understand of Operators Licence requirements. Previous experience working in a similar role is desirable.

Other Criteria:

The successful candidate must have excellent communication and customer service skills; towards both colleagues and customers. They must be organised, have excellent attention to detail and a problem solving attitude. This role also requires the candidate to be fluent in English due to being in constant communication with planning teams, operations teams and customers.

Shift Pattern Details:

4 on 4 off 12 hour shift 06:00 - 18:00
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 29,000.00-33,000.00 per year
