The Role

You will be required to undertake the following day-to-day duties:

? Meet customer requirements for the safe and efficient transport of their goods according to

operating procedures and statutory requirements.

? Strong transport planning skills and experience planning routes HGV and Class 1 vehicles

? Tracking trailer movements and keeping our customers updated.

? Checking supplier documentation against loads.

? Liaising with subcontractors.

? Briefing drivers in relation to routes and traffic management

? Preparing shift handovers and measuring KPIs.

The Person

To be considered for the opportunity, candidates must hold the following skills and

experiences

? Minimum of 2 years of Transport Coordinating experience with strong geographical knowledge

? Effective communicator both written and verbal and exceptional organisational skills

? Have high-level IT skills as the complete operation is digital.

? Good timekeeping and being able to work in a structured manner adhering to timetable

requirements.

? Problem-solving ability.

? Flexible attitude to working hours & shift patterns to support the needs of the business.
