All About the Role
We have a new opening available for an experienced Transport Coordinator based at our Scunthorpe site. Reporting to the Network Planning Manager, in this new role you will create & deliver the daily transport load program for site, in the most cost-effective way.
Shift hours are Monday to Friday 6 am to 2 pm, although flexibility will be required.
Specific tasks could include:
To effectively deliver the Daily Transport Schedule for the operation
Liaise with drivers & Subcontractors on day-to-day operations and be the point of contact for any issues.
Proactively manage internal and external communication to Key Stakeholders
Build and maintain effective relationships across various departments.
Assist the Transport Manager with Legal compliance of vehicles & Drivers.
Measure KPI's to review departmental performance.
Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to
