Transport & Dispatch Coordinator | Fresh Produce | Kent
We're partnered with a well-established business in Kent who need a hands on Logistics and Dispatch Coordinator to drive the daily outbound logistics. You'll be working with a team of 2 dispatch admins ensuring everything is running smoothly
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the distribution team to drive performance standards and ensure a smooth operation within the dispatch area.
- Liaising with hauliers across multiple clients to coordinate deliveries in accordance with orders to maintain high customer service levels
- Supporting the admin team and adding to their own personal development
- Working with the wider team looking at planning and and focusing on creating a culture of continuous performance
- Experience in a dispatch, transport or logistics coordination role, ideally within food, FMCG, or fresh produce
- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to manage time-critical operations
- A working knowledge of transport legislation and Health & Safety compliance
- Clear communication and confidence liaising with multiple departments
- Proactive problem-solving and a continuous improvement mindset
- 35k-40k salary
- 23 days holidays + 8 bank holidays
- A Monday to Friday role with office based hours (occasional weekend work to cover admin team is required)
