We are looking for a driver to collect and deliver customer cars as we repair them, to join our team in Croydon, Greater London.
Key Tasks & Expectations
To contact Customer before delivery or collection of a vehicle
To collect and deliver vehicles on time and in accordance with instructions
To check and record damaged areas on the vehicle using the MyFleet video system
To assess any other damaged areas on the vehicle and arrange for a private quote from our estimating team
To inspect customer driving licences and take credit card details prior to releasing the courtesy car using MyFleet
To ensure the full completion of the credit repair agreement where appropriate
To collect VAT, excess and retail payments on delivering Customers vehicles
To remove and/or document customers' possessions from vehicle (if left in vehicle) in line with Health & Safety guidelines
To check the courtesy car prior to delivery to the Customer for any damage and record
To carry out routine maintenance checks on courtesy car including, oil, water, screen wash, etc before delivering the car to the Customer
To inspect and record any damage to the courtesy car when collecting from the Customer, and report to the General Manager or another member of the management team
To report any accidents in either customer or courtesy vehicles to the General Manager immediately or another senior manager
To complete the drivers log
To assist in day to day duties that may be required of you
To assist with the upkeep of the courtesy car fleet
To deliver all courtesy cars back onto site
To perform other duties in support of other team members as required
To attend training courses
To drive all vehicles in a highly responsible manner with the aim of minimising the possibility of damaging customer and courtesy vehicles
To attain a high standard of customer service in-keeping with the Company standards and our Service Level Agreements
Applicant requirements:
Have at least 3 years' driving experience, preferably professional
Experience using My Fleet is advantageous, but full training can be given
Have experience in customer facing roles
Fair knowledge on cars is desirable
Take pride in your work and have exceptional attention to detail
Have a full UK Driving Licence, with no more than 6 penalty points
