We're now looking for a Transport Manager to take the helm of our daily transport operations!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence Ensure drivers are legal and compliant on a daily and weekly basis and ensure clear communication between all functions within the transport department and the warehouse team To lead the work activities of the drivers and the transport clerical team, providing effective leadership, communication, motivation, training and development Carrying out HR Management tasks such as staff reviews, appraisals, absence management and disciplinaries. Team Builder: Develop, engage and inspire your team, creating an environment where every colleague can do their best Analyse & Improve: Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. Your analytical skills will help us deliver excellence every day!

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Can lead from the front, winning hearts and minds and providing coaching and mentorship People management experience - desirable Experience working within a transport office / supply chain environment - desirable Computer literate - must have Microsoft Office experience Have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Aren't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in when needed
