Job Description


An opportunity has arisen to join our logistics team based at Witham St Hughs, Lincoln. We are looking for a Transport Forwarder to join us on a fixed term full-time basis for approximately 18 months.

The successful candidate will work alongside our forwarding and transport scheduling teams. Managing the collection and delivery of bulk raw materials from farms and stores to our end users. The movement of grain will be organised both on our own bulk fleet and third-party hauliers.

The role involves working with all departments within Frontier to make sure we are managing contracts on time and giving the excellent service we have become known for.

Attention to detail, time management, good communication skills and strong organisational skills are essential for this role.

  • Understanding of transport laws, tachograph and working time directive.
The role - Key responsibilities
  • Organising collection and delivery of grain.
  • Working closely with the company\'s national bulk fleet team to optimise logistical efficiencies.
  • Provide support cover when required within the existing forwarding and logistics teams.
  • Booking haulage and discussing haulage rates with hauliers.
  • Communicating with farmers around contract execution, collection, and delivery.
  • Work closely with all departments to make sure our customers are given a professional experience from start to finish.
