Transport Front Line Manager

to join our dedicated Transport team.



This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven management experience in the FMCG sector (ideally food) who thrives on leading teams, driving performance, and delivering exceptional service.

Key Accountabilities

As a key part of our Transport leadership team, you'll be responsible for:


Leading and motivating our team of Drivers, Coordinators and administrators to ensure safe, timely deliveries and collections. Setting clear goals and expectations to meet key performance indicators (KPIs). Champion health and safety initiatives across all transport operations, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management and a culture of safety compliance. Collaborate closely with the Vehicle Maintenance Unit to ensure full compliance with all company and DVSA standards and regulations. Lead the enforcement of compliance standards related to Tachograph usage and driver regulations, promoting best practices across the team. Optimising labour utilisation through effective scheduling and flexibility. Recruiting, training, and developing team members who embody our values. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and service. Resolving service issues quickly and escalating when necessary.
